Diapason

"In Studio 2 at Abbey Road, there is still a deep and intense atmosphere, filled with the notes of the ‘Diapason' score just performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra,” says Roberto Cacciapaglia. “I gather these thousands of notes echoing in the empty studio. Like falling stars, they shine to create Frequency of Love. I wrote this piece as a symbol of the union between masculine and feminine energies that live together in one single person, in one single voice, in one single music.”

Piano, voices, acoustic and electronic instruments blend in perfect balance. They create an ocean of sounds, which is the music of composer and pianist Roberto Cacciapaglia. In this album, Roberto Cacciapaglia continues his journey between electronic music and classical tradition. It is a music without borders, where sound structures meet melody. Melody has always carried our emotions since ancient times, starting from the myth of Orpheus. Three songs in the album have lyrics: Innocence, with a text by William Blake; A Gift, from a poem by Mahatma Gandhi; and The Morning is Born Tonight, inspired by Martin Luther King.

The tuning fork (Diapason) is the symbol of sound vibration. It is the pure sound that travels through space, the source of all sounds. It makes everything vibrate on the same frequency, creating a deep union through music. Diapason features the absolute best standards in acoustics, sound, and recording. Once again, Roberto Cacciapaglia works with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He returned to the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London for the orchestra recordings and the mastering.
The World Tour started in Italy on January 18, 2019, from Carpi. It traveled through the most beautiful Italian theaters and then continued to Russia, China, the USA, and Europe.
