Angel Falls

‘Angel Falls’ it’s the brand new single by the Italian outstanding Pianist Roberto Cacciapaglia and anticipates his forthcoming Album due to be released in early 2022. It was recorded at the Ristori Theatre in Verona together with the amazing Italian Orchestra "I Virtuosi Italiani", the song was inspired by a recent trip to Venezuela and the Maestro’s visit to the stunning location called ‘Salto Ángel’ (Angel Falls), where the ‘Maestro’ was stoked by the beauty and peacefulness of the place and started to imagine in his head a musical composition that would fit perfectly such surroundings.

"I wrote 'Angel Falls' after having Travelled to 'Salto Ángel', in Venezuela, during an expedition that took me to the grandeur, the wonder and the primordiality of the highest waterfall in the world, which has in itself the strength, the depth and the presence of the nature in which we live,” says Roberto Cacciapaglia. “Through sound, emotion seeks new dimensions, not the mirage of an escape from reality, but the image of a new reality. Music that touches emotionsdeep down is like a wind that clarifies and purifies all obstacles and divisions, an arrow that strikes and awakens in us places that are not normally reached in everyday life. It opens unknown landscapes that have remained in the dark, like a ray of light that enters a complete dark room, eliminates the darkness and nothing can obstruct the view anymore.

While I play, I create a relation between my inner state of presence with the propagation of sound, through vibrations, energetic communication, cycles that refer to planetary orbits and the structure of harmonics, the same harmonics with which Pythagoras managed to coincide the laws of universe.”
