The Ann Steel Album

"In my music, there is nothing to understand. It is so superficial that I find nothing to say. My music is naive, there is nothing behind it, and that is why I like it,” says Roberto Cacciapaglia. “You can listen to it while drinking a tea, watching television, or talking with a friend. Or, in a moment when you have nothing to do or you are bored, you can listen to it carefully and discover a thousand small changes. It is certainly not the ideal music, it is just a type of music. The computer was essential; it is a wonderfully poetic tool that evokes the beauty of the new technological world and gives everything a nice, artificial flavor of great relevance today. This music can be used in many ways and listened to by different people, and this makes me happy because I like that it is accessible to everyone. I wish it could be even simpler; in fact, my hope is to discover it one day light, so light that it flies away like a balloon."
