The words of a song must have the fragility and transparency of the shell of a cicada so that their delicate plot not obstruct the prodigy of the sound, rather pathing the way for the mysterious voice that goes beyond verbal signals and brings to man the ability to reach the truth of being.  In the lyrics of Roberto Cacciapaglia there are wind and flags, clouds and night, children intent on the mysterious song of the unknown, and there are eyes that reflect infinity: there is a world that asks to love and be loved, and there is a sky where one can fly.  To see from this height the deserts, the sea, cities and streets, the gaze of man and their passions!  It is an aspiration as ancient as man that has invented angels to access together with man, away from the uproar of the earth and to finally understand the life of down here.  But above all, to lend the words to his music is the desire and anxiety of the voyage – the excitement to find new dimensions in space and also in time: towards the past and towards the future, with nostalgia and hope.  It is through the imagination of the mind that the “Constant Traveller” finds the path that saves him from hard blow with reality, with the unease of a life that tortures his thoughts of good.  This is how utopia is born- not the mirage of a possible evasion from reality; but the image of new reality, where man learns to recognize the salt of life, the joy that only the practice of solitude and the taste of “loyalty” are able to lavish.  Tender and audacious like a child’s smile, the words of Roberto look out the balcony of the future with a smile veiled with tears – and the spell of the music makes one imagine that their wish, one time or another, will come true.
